Clean-up quotes vary more than mowing quotes because the scope varies more. Here's what a proper team is actually pricing for when they give you a number.
Size. The obvious one. We measure both the lawn area and the bed area, because beds take longer per square metre than lawn.
Gradient. Steep blocks slow everything down. Mowers don't move the same way, edging takes twice as long, and getting waste off-site means walking it to the trailer.
Access. Wide side gates and a flat run to the kerb? Fast. Tight access, stairs, locked gates with no key on the day? Slower, and that's reflected in the quote.
Green-waste volume. A long-overdue clean-up generates several trailer loads. Tip fees and disposal time are part of what you're paying for. The bigger the backlog, the higher the volume charge.
Time of year. Spring and pre-summer are peak. A booking in late winter is often cheaper because we have more capacity and the work is easier (slower growth).
